Protecting from corrosion
ANTI-CORROSIVE COATINGS ARE EFFECTIVE PROTECTION OF STEEL SURFACES
AND CONCRETE
Properly made anti-corrosion or fire protection will allow the structure of the facility to maintain its impeccable and aesthetic condition for much longer, without the need for additional repairs over a long period of use. This is extremely important due to the savings resulting from the lack of the need for repairs, but also due to the necessity to turn off the use of the facility for the time of repairs. A well-chosen coating is a safe and long-lasting object. Due to the diverse needs and requirements of our customers, we have created a wide range of top-shelf anti-corrosion coatings. In our website you will find selected products for corrosion protection Carboline USA.
We present a wide selection of industrial anti-corrosion coatings, varied in terms of protection time as well as corrosion or environmental requirements. We offer strong primers, super-resistant topcoats, acrylic, polyurethane, epoxy as well as heat-resistant and fire-resistant coatings for steel and concrete. We especially recommend our coatings where there are very severe corrosive or environmental conditions with a long period of use. We care about customer satisfaction, which is why our products are the result of many studies and tests. The Carboline brand is a guarantee of their excellent quality and proven effective operation. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the available offer. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

How to protect a metal surface against corrosion?
ANTI-CORROSION COATINGS
Anticorrosive protection of metal surfaces requires the use of a special type of coating.
ANTICORROSION COATINGS are groups of coatings with the most advanced properties. They combine the properties of primers, primers and topcoats, so they can be applied as a single layer. Anticorrosive coatings can be applied to iron, steel and galvanized surfaces, which is why they are widely used in industry, but also at home and in the garden. Anti-corrosion coatings are used to protect all kinds of steel structures that are exposed to water and moisture, as well as metal fences, furniture and metal elements of small architecture.
PRIMING COATINGS they constitute the first protective layer and prevent the formation of new corrosion centers. The priming coating can also neutralize the already existing small groups of rust. It is an excellent base for a topcoat or an intermediate coat.
UNDERCOAT (intermediate) is applied before the topcoat is applied. It provides better adhesion and a protective barrier against the ingress of moisture and water vapor, which is the main cause of rust. Our offer includes traditional undercoat paints or modern coatings combining the properties of primers and undercoats.
APPLICATION
How to apply anti-corrosion coating?
Anti-corrosion coatings can be applied with a brush or roller or with the use of specialized pressure painting units. The latter solution is used primarily in industry, where there are large surfaces that require thorough painting in a short time. Application of anti-corrosion coating with the use of an aggregate accelerates and improves painting work. For painting steel, iron and cast iron, phthalic, chlorinated rubber, polyurethane and epoxy coatings are used. For aluminum and galvanized surfaces, vinyl, polyvinyl, acrylic, acrylic-latex and polyvinyl-latex coatings will be a better choice.
We are happy to advise you and answer your questions if you do not know what anti-corrosion coating will be appropriate for a given type of surface.
The most commonly used anti-corrosion coatings. Their name comes from the alkyd resins used as a binder. They belong to solvent coatings. They are characterized by resistance to variable external factors and a relatively low purchase price.
ALKIDE PRODUCTS
Anti-corrosion coating for priming steel substrates: Modified alkyd, pigmented with zinc phosphate. It can be covered with almost all topcoats, including polyurethane coating. It tolerates the presence of old but well-adhesive paint coats. Due to the excellent adhesion of both pure steel to the oxidized surface, and also due to the corrosion of pigmentation, this primer prevents corrosion and provides quick and effective protection. GP3 primer dries quickly, allowing the topcoat to be applied for a short time. This product is also recommended as an industrial primer with excellent atmospheric stability, even in an uncoated state.
Recommended use:
Usually on metal surfaces of steel structures, equipment, pipelines and for repair work where sandblasting cannot be performed.
Not Recommended Use:
Dip mode and direct exposure to severe conditions without the use of a suitable topcoat.

Resistant to high temperatures, chemical vapors and weather conditions. In our assortment you will also find products for special tasks - paints resistant to continuous temperature up to 540 ° C! Individual types ensure high resistance to thermal shock! They effectively protect the entire covered surface, preventing corrosion. We cordially invite you to familiarize yourself with the detailed specification of heat-resistant coatings available in our offer.
EXAMPLE APPLICATION OF HEAT-RESISTANT COATINGS
Heat-resistant coatings protect painted surfaces against high and very high temperatures, up to several hundred ° C. Our Thermaline series coatings are used in many industries, where they are constantly exposed to unfavorable thermal conditions. For priming steel, when the temperatures in continuous operation do not exceed 220 ° C, and periodically 260 ° C, we recommend Thermaline 200 Primer, which is characterized by good flexibility and high chemical resistance. Thermaline 400 EU Primer & Finish heat-resistant coating is a high-quality combination of a primer and a topcoat.
