Examples of technical application

Examples of technical installation of the product:

Select the appropriate fire rope diameter for the given expansion joint width from the table. Place fire rope in the expansion joint and press it with a blunt tool, e.g. a wooden slat

Place fire rope centrally inside the wall, press it with a blunt tool, e.g. a wooden slat

Properly sealed expansion joint with one fire rope in the wall. Fire rope should be inside the wall. The surface of the rope should not protrude beyond the edges of the wall

Place fire ropes on both sides of the wall, inside the expansion joint, press them with a blunt tool, e.g. a wooden slat

Properly sealed expansion joint with two fire ropes in the wall. Fire ropes should be inside the wall. The surface of fire ropes should not protrude beyond the edges of the wall

Select the appropriate fire rope diameter for the given expansion joint width from the table. Place fire rope in the expansion joint and press it with a blunt tool, e.g. a wooden slat

Properly sealed expansion joint with one fire rope in the floor. Fire rope should be inside the floor. The surface of the rope should not protrude beyond the edges of the floor

Technical description:

Technical description

FJ203 fire rope is a fireproof woven rope made of mineral rock fiber in a sheath of elastic glass fibers braided appropriately to maintain the shape ensuring optimal filling of expansion joints. Thanks to its design, it ensures easy and quick assembly in all conditions on the construction site.

Intended use:

FJ203 fire rope  provides fire protection for expansion joints and gaps in  concrete fire barriers, walls and floors. By filling the expansion joint, they are a perfect seal for fire partitions in places where there are gaps or expansion joints. All FJ203 fire ropes have been tested in accordance with EN 1366-4:
- expansion joints (+ 20%): joint width from 10 mm to 130 mm (depending on the selected product)
- static joints: joint width from 10 mm to 150 mm (depending on the selected product)
