Perlifoc is a fireproof mortar used to protect load-bearing structures and equipment. Structural protections made with the use of this fireproof mortar are not only extremely durable, but also easy to apply to the structure. The main advantage of Perlifoc fireproof mortar is the possibility of quick and precise application of a protective coating, which is distinguished by above-average tightness and perfectly adheres to various surfaces. Perlifoc fireproof mortar is a mixture of light raw materials, perlite and vermiculite with a hydraulic binding agent and modifying additives. Perlifoc fireproof mortar is applied using plastering units prepared for continuous operation, equipped with a flow chamber in which the mortar is mixed with water. Due to its specificity, this measure is dedicated to protect measures inside buildings, it should not be used outside, where it may be exposed to the effects of weather conditions.

Perlifoc fireproof mortar is intended for passive fire protection of concrete load-bearing elements, steel load-bearing elements, composite flat load-bearing elements made of concrete and profiled steel, wooden load-bearing elements, technical indoor installations, load-bearing floors made of wooden joists and concrete slabs.
The product is intended for professional use.

Perlifoc fireproof mortar is easy to apply. The fire-resistant mortar is applied using plastering units equipped with a flow chamber in which the mortar is mixed with water. The application of the fire-resistant mortar is quick and precise, and the applied coating is tight and adheres perfectly to the surface. The thickness of the coating depends on the massiveness and time of protection.
Before applying a protective layer, the surface should be dry, degreased and free from dust. The steel substrate should be previously protected with an anti-corrosion coating. The surface should also provide good grip. If not, the use of a load-bearing wire mesh is recommended.
